Patna: In the CK Nayudu U-23 match being played at The Dali College, Indore, Madhya Pradesh beat Bihar by an innings and 189 runs on the third day itself. In this match, Madhya Pradesh won the toss and invited Bihar to bat. Bihar team was all out for 90 runs in the first innings. In reply, Madhya Pradesh team scored 392 runs for eight wickets in the first innings and took a lead of 302 runs over Bihar in the first innings. On the third day of the match, Bihar team was all out after scoring 113 runs in the second innings.
In the second innings, captain Ankit Raj scored the highest 47 runs for Bihar, while Ayush Loharika scored 21 runs and K Aryan Mohit scored 17 runs. For Madhya Pradesh, Aman took 3 wickets, Adhir Pratap Singh took 5 wickets and Ishan Afridi took 2 wickets. Bihar’s next match will be against Delhi from January 14 at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi.
