Patna: In the quarter-final of men’s category held on the second day of the 4th State Closed Squash Championship, Abdul Rehman defeated Priyansh Kedia 11-2,11-4,11-3, Abhiraj Singh defeated Saurabh Kumar Agarwal 11-5,12-10,11-5, Madhav Kumar defeated Shivam Kant 11-2,11-0,11-4 Gaurav Kumar defeated Sujit Kumar 11-2,11-2,11-9 to enter the semi-finals.
In the women’s quarter-final matches, last year’s winner Sunny Mehta defeated Soni Kumari by 11-0,11-6,11-8, Pooja Dubey defeated Anjali Rani by 11-3,11-5,11-2.
Anamika Kumari defeated Anjali Kumari11-6, 11-3, 11-5 to enter semifinals.
In the under 13 girls category, Sneha defeated Anushka 11-9,11-9,11-9. Niyati beat Aashi 12-10,13-11,10-12,6-11,6-11 to enter semifinals.
Tomorrow at 4:00 pm, Bankipur Club Secretary Dr. Vipin Kumar Singh and Director Sanjay Agrawal will give away the prizes.
