Patna: Loyola High School won the boys’ football title of the Inter School Sports Festival Khellozz 2022 being held at the Patliputra Sports Complex here. Kabaddi, football and lawn tennis matches were played on the fourth day of this sports festival.
In the final of boys’ football, Loyola High School defeated DPS Patna 1–0 to win the title. In the semi-finals, Loyola High School defeated St Dominic Savios High School 4-1 and DPS Patna defeated St Michael’s High School 5-3 to win the final.
Lawn tennis: Don Basco Academy won the gold medal in the boys’ under-14 section of the lawn tennis event. St Michael’s High School won silver while Trinity Global School claimed the bronze medals.
Mount Carmel High School won the girls’ under-14 title in the lawn tennis while Notre Dame Academy bagged the silver. Bronze medal went to Open Minds A Birla School.
DAV BSEB team won gold medal in the boys’ under-19 category. St Michael’s High School captured the silver medal while DPS Patna bagged the bronze.
St. Michael’s High School won the gold medal in girls’ under-19 category of lawn tennis event. Don Bosco Academy won silver medal while Node Dame Academy won bronze medal.
Kabaddi: The final match of girls kabaddi will be played between Open Minds A Birla School Danapur and Foundation Academy while the final match of boys’ kabaddi will be played between Foundation Academy and Gyan Niketan Boys.
In the semi-finals of girls’ kabaddi, Foundation Academy beat Notre Dame Academy 59-44 while Open Minds A Birla School Danapur defeated St Michael’s High School 53-44.
In the semi-finals of boys’ kabaddi, Foundation Academy defeated St Michael’s High School 78-62 while Gyan Niketan Boys defeated Mahadev High School 73-44. The final matches of both the sections of kabaddi will be held tomorrow.
