Patna, June 29: After the immense success of Turning Point and Sardar Patel Sports Foundation School Cricket League Under-15, it has now been decided to organize Little Champs Cricket League Under-13. This information was jointly given by Santosh Tiwari, founder of Sardar Patel Sports Foundation and Vijay Sharma, director of Turning Point. He said that the event will be organised in the month of October.
They said that this league will also be organized on the lines of School Cricket League. A total of 12 teams will play in this league. Teams will be formed on the basis of selection trials. Selection trials will be organized in Patna only. He said that only the players studying in the schools of Patna district will be allowed to play in this league.
Sardar Patel Sports Foundation Secretary Naveen Kumar said that the match will be of 21 overs a side. The matches will be conducted by panel umpires. The match will be played with a white ball in colour dress. On the lines of IPL, Purple and Orange caps will be given during every match.
The league will have a grand finale and prize distribution will also be done in a grand manner. Apart from the glittering trophy, individual awards will also be given to the winning and runner-up teams. Apart from this, Man of the League and Player of the Match awards will also be given in every match.
