Katihar: Liberty Cricket Club defeated Rising Star Academy by 87 runs and scored two points in the Katihar District A Division Cricket League match played on Tuesday, hosted by Katihar District Cricket Association, at Rajendra Stadium in the city.
Liberty Cricket Club won the toss and batted first and scored 245 runs at the loss of 9 wickets in 35 overs. Saeed Anwar scored 49 runs and Umesh Kumar scored 41 runs.
Siddharth Sharma took 2 wickets and Mohit Sharma took 2 wickets for Rising Star Academy.
Chasing 246 runs, Rising Star Academy were all out for 158 runs in 25.4 overs.
