Patna: Learning School of Cricket and SPS CC emerged victorious in their respective matches on Monday, 3rd March, in the Shailendra Kumar Memorial Inter-School Cricket Tournament Under-15. The matches were held at the local Krishna Cricket Ground (Khemnichak) under the auspices of the Sardar Patel Sports Foundation. Learning School of Cricket secured a 6-wicket win against Karuna CC, while SPS CC claimed an 8-wicket victory over Sardar Patel Cricket Academy.
In the first match, Karuna CC won the toss and elected to bat first, posting a total of 200 runs for 5 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. In response, Learning School of Cricket chased down the target, scoring 203 runs for 4 wickets in 19.1 overs, clinching the win. Karan Kumar of the winning team was awarded the Player of the Match for his outstanding performance, scoring 112 runs and taking 1 wicket. The award was presented by Bihar State JD(U) spokesperson Arvind Nishad and State Secretary JD(U) Shatrughan Paswan.
The second match saw Sardar Patel Cricket Academy win the toss and bat first, scoring 143 runs before being bowled out in 21 overs. SPS CC comfortably chased the target, reaching 144 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in 18.1 overs. Ajeet of SPS CC was named Player of the Match for his contribution of 33 runs and 2 wickets.
