Patna:  A gritty 79 not out by skipper Langlonyamba M and his 65 runs partnership with Bikash Singh (47) for sixth wicket helped Manipur draw their four-day Ranji Trophy match against Bihar at Gujarat College Cricket Ground “A “in Ahmedabad on Friday.  Bihar got three points by virtue of first innings lead.

Bikash Singh came to the crease when Manipur were tottering at 128 for five while chasing 303 to win the match. Bikash Singh played aggressive knock of 47 off 54 balls.  Manipur opener Karnajit Y also stroked in 43 runs.

Earlier, Bihar declared their second innings at 287 for 9 and gave a stiff target of 303 runs to Manipur to win the match off 74 overs. Bihar had a good chance to win the match on the turning fourth day track of Gujarat College Ground but the spin department of Bihar led by captain Ashutosh Aman failed to castle the wicket of Manipur skipper Langlonyamba M.
