Patna: Lakshya Engitech Cricket Academy and Cricket Academy of Bihar (CAB) have confirmed their places in the quarterfinals of the Dr Parmeshwar Dayal Memorial Under-13 Inter-School Cricket Tournament.
Lakshya Engitech Cricket Academy defeated YCC Cricket Academy by 7 wickets, while the Cricket Academy of Bihar beat Gaya Youth Cricket Club by 73 runs.
In the first match, held on Tuesday, 15 October, at the Cricket Academy of Bihar Ground, YCC Blue won the toss and opted to bat first, scoring 131 runs for 8 wickets in 25 overs. In response, Lakshya Cricket Academy reached 137 runs for 3 wickets in 21.1 overs, securing the win. Tanjil Mallick of the winning team was awarded the Rize Coaching Player of the Match by Sardar Patel Sports Foundation General Secretary Naveen Kumar.
In the second match, CAB won the toss and batted first, posting a total of 179 runs before being all out in 23.2 overs, with Shivam scoring 50 runs. In reply, Gaya Youth Cricket Club was dismissed for 106 runs in 18.2 overs. Ayush Raj of the winning team received the Rize Coaching Player of the Match award from Naveen Kumar.
