Patna, May 20: Under the aegis of All Bihar Chess Association, Lakhisarai District Chess Association is organising Bihar State Senior Chess Championship from June 24. The championship will be organized at Khel Bhawan located at Gandhi Maidan, Lakhisarai.
A total cash prize money of Rs 30000 will be distributed as prize in this Swiss chess tournament played in nine rounds. The last date for entry is June 20. The team selected on the basis of this championship will represent Bihar in the National Chess Championship on and National Team Chess Championship.
