Patna: With the administrative support of Bihar State Sports Authority, the two-day Khelo India Women’s Road Cycling League was formally inaugurated by Home Guard and Fire Department IG Sunil Kumar Nayak on the Ganga Path in Patna on Saturday.
Giving this information, Dr. Kaushal Kishore Singh, Secretary of the Cycling Association of Bihar, said that in the senior category of ITT 20 km, Gangotri stood first, Ruchika Singh stood second, and Sheetal stood third.
In the 16-kilometer junior category, Akanksha stood first, Lakshmi stood second, and Appi stood third.
In the 12 km sub-junior category, Amrita Kumari stood first, Akita stood second, and Srishti stood third. In 6 Kilometer Youth, Manju Kumari stood first, Aditi stood second, and Shalini got third place.
Tomorrow, Mass Stars of different age groups will be organized from 7 am to 10:30 a.m. After the end of the league, the winning players will be awarded by the Director General of the Bihar State Sports Authority, Raveendran Shankaran. On this occasion, Association President Jagjivan Singh, Vice President Vikramaditya, Joint Secretary Satish Kumar Singh, Treasurer Baijnath Prasad, and Coach AK Lewis were present at the opening function.
