Patna: Khelo India Junior and Sub-Junior Women’s Kho-Kho League, hosted by Kho-Kho Association of Bihar under the banner of Indian Kho Kho Federation in collaboration with Union Sports Ministry and Sports Authority of India, will be held at Sky Vision Public School, Lakhisarai, from March 19 to March 21 This information was given by Neeraj Kumar Pappu, General Secretary of Kho-Kho Association of Bihar, quoting the letter sent by the Kho-Kho Federation of India.
He said that a total of 9 teams each from East and North East states will participate in this league in junior and sub-junior category, which includes teams from host Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Assam, Manipur, Tripura and Arunachal Pradesh. He thanked Kho-Kho Federation of India, President, Sudhanshu Mittal and General Secretary MS Tyagi alloting this this league to Bihar. He said that Kho-Kho Association of Bihar will live up to their expectations and organize a successful event.
He said Khelo India League is being organised with a view to discover, develop and encourage women players in various sports across the country.
He said that for the successful organization of this league, Bablu Sharma, director of the Sky Vision Public School has been made the organizing chairman. Other committees will be formed under his leadership.
Organizing Chairman Bablu Sharma said that the responsibility assigned to us by Kho-Kho Association of Bihar and Kho-Kho Association of Lakhisarai will be fully discharged. He said that it is a matter of pride for us to have such a big event in my school campus. He said that every comfort and facility of the players will be taken full care of.
