Patna: Kavish Sahu delivered a stellar performance at the Bihar State Third Major Ranking Table Tennis Championship, clinching the titles in both the Boys’ Under-17 and Men’s categories. The tournament concluded on Sunday at the Bihar Young Men’s Institute Hall.
In the Women’s section, Riyanshi Gupta emerged victorious, while Kumari Ananya secured the Girls’ Under-19 title, marking her third championship win. Previously, Ananya had claimed the titles in the Girls’ Under-15 and Under-17 categories, showcasing her dominance across age groups.
The awards were presented by former Chief General Manager of BCCL Banarasi Prasad, Bihar Table Tennis Association Treasurer Manoj Kumar, former State Champion Papiya D. Gandhi, and CMD of Samrat Construction Ramendra Chaudhary, whose company supported the championship.
The ceremony was hosted by Patna District Table Tennis Association Secretary Dilip Kumar Gandhi, with a vote of thanks delivered by Treasurer Somnath Roy. Tournament chief referee Atanu Chatterjee presented the championship report.
