Patna: Kartikey Agassi of Bihar advanced into the final of U-16 singles and U-18 doubles of AITA Championship Series being played at Zirakpur, Punjab.
According to Kunal Aikat, director Caper Tennis Academy, in U-16 singles, Kartikey Agassi from Bihar defeated second seed Fatehyab Singh from Maharashtra by 6-3,6-2 to move into final. In the singles final, he will face Karan Rawat from Maharashtra.
In U-18 doubles, Kartikey and his partner Ujjwal Verma from Uttar Pradesh, defeated Harsh Agassi from Bihar and Aritro Ghosh from West Bengal by 7-5,6-3. In boys doubles under 18 final he is going to play the pair of Harsh Sandaliya from Haryana and Sehaj Singh Bajwa from Punjab.
