Patna: BCA Randhir Verma U19 One Day Trophy 2024-25 began on Friday under the aegis of Bihar Cricket Association. Today a total of three matches were played on different grounds, in which Kaimur, Sitamarhi and Samastipur won their respective matches.
Kaimur vs Buxar (Jagjivan Stadium, Kaimur)
Buxar won the toss and batting first scored 101 runs for 10 wickets in 35.2 overs. For Buxar, Ravi Hriday Kumar scored 24 runs with 2 fours in 51 balls, Shahid Nasruddin Khan scored 24 runs with 1 four, 3 sixes in 21 balls and Sumit Vijay Shankar Kumar scored 22 runs with 3 fours in 53 balls.
For Kaimur, Anuj Raj Singh took 5 wickets for 25 runs in 10 overs, 2 maidens and Abhishek Babulal Paswan took two wickets and Asif Alauddin Ahmed took one wicket.
In reply, Kaimur scored 102 runs at the loss of 1 wicket in 18.2 overs. Ustav Sujit Anand scored an unbeaten 53 runs hitting 7 fours in 56 balls, Devashish Santosh scored an unbeaten 32 runs by hitting 3 fours in 29 balls and Taufiq Aleem Siddiqui scored 13 runs by hitting 2 fours in 25 balls.
For Buxar, Akshay Kumar Mishra got one wicket.
Madhubani vs Sitamarhi (Janaki Stadium, Sitamarhi)
Batting first, Madhubani scored 134 runs for 10 wickets in 36.01 overs. Subhash Naveen Kumar scored 65 runs in 60 balls with 10 fours and 1 six and Ayush Alok Raj scored 16 and Ayush Anil Kashyap scored 10 runs.
For Sitamarhi, Vaibhav Vivek Mishra took 4 wickets for 14 runs in 7.1 overs with 1 maiden and Ayush Mukesh Kumar and Utsav Kumar Umang got two wickets each and Raghav Naresh Kumar Arya got one wicket.
In reply, Sitamarhi scored 135 runs for two wickets in 28.01 overs. Utkarsh Kumar Pathak scored 60 runs in 81 balls with 9 fours and 2 sixes, Akshat Shiv Shambhu Prasad Gupta scored 34 runs in 62 balls with 5 fours and Md Taufiq Umar scored an unbeaten 21 runs in 26 balls with 3 fours.
For Madhubani, Deepak Kapil Kumar got only one wicket.
Samastipur vs Saharsa (Supaul Stadium, Supaul)
Samastipur batted first and scored 286 runs for 5 wickets in 40 overs. Priyanshu Kumar Yadav scored an unbeaten 66 runs by hitting 10 fours in 47 balls and Md Badre Alam scored 65 runs by hitting 5 fours and 2 sixes in 64 balls and Aditya Vinay Kumar scored 64 runs by hitting 8 fours and 1 six in 59 balls.
For Saharsa Safin Noor Afroz, Abhinav Dayanand Kumar, Arjit Vimlendra Singh and Ayush Mukesh Kumar took one wicket each.
In reply, Saharsa scored 177 runs for 10 wickets in 37.2 overs. Ayush Mukesh Kumar scored 46 runs in 27 balls by hitting 3 fours and 4 sixes and Aparnaav Sanjay Kumar Singh Chauhan scored 31 runs in 47 balls by hitting 6 fours and Abhinav Dayanand Kumar scored 25 runs in 61 balls by hitting 1 four.
For Samastipur, Shashwat took 4 wickets for 34 runs in 7.2 overs and Ayush Mithilesh Kumar and Manish Gulab Kumar got two wickets each and Md Badre Alam got 1 wicket.
