Patna: Junior Shukla Football Academy and New Yarpur Football Club won their respective matches played on Sunday in Rekha Devi Patna District Junior Division Football League being played under the aegis of Patna Football Association.
The first match was played between New Yarpur FC and Dujra Football Club at Sanjay Gandhi Stadium. Munna Kumar scored the first goal for New Yarpur at the start of the second half. After this, efforts were made by both the teams to score the goal but that went in vain. Match referee Kishan Kumar showed yellow card to Praveen Kumar of New Yarpur. Ruat Sounga of New Yarpur was awarded the player of the match and he was award by Ramesh Kumar Sharma, executive member of Patna Football Association.
The second match was played between Junior Shukla Football Academy and Gulzarbagh FC. In this match Junior Shukla FA defeated Gulzarbagh FC 2-0. Sonu Kumar scored in the 19th minute and Prakash Kumar in the 61st minute for Junior Shukla FA. Advocate Sharmanand Rai gave away the Player of the Match award to Shubham Chaudhary of the winning team.
