Jharkhand Crush Bihar by an Innings and 97 Runs in CK Nayudu Trophy

Ranchi: Jharkhand secured a dominant victory over Bihar, winning by an innings and 97 runs in the CK Nayudu Trophy match at JSCA Stadium on Monday.

Resuming their first innings at 487 for 6, Jharkhand declared at 621 for 7, gaining a commanding lead of 424 runs. Rajan Deep starred with a brilliant 149, while Shubh Sharma (97), Kaunen Qureshi (76), and Abhinav Sharan (53) made valuable contributions. Shikhar Mohan (72), Robin Minj (35), Aryan Hooda (30), Satya Setu (14), and Sahil Raj (8) also chipped in.

For Bihar, Suraj Kashyap, Akash Raj, and Manish Kumar took two wickets each, while Suman Kumar claimed one.

In response, Bihar managed 327 runs in 73.2 overs in their second innings. Prithvi Raj led the fight with a century (104), while Prashant Kumar (38), Suman Kumar (38), Utkarsh Singh (36), Rohit (21), Suraj Kashyap (21), Shashank Upadhyay (19), Manish Kumar (14), Akash Raj (11), and Ankit Raj (9) contributed.

Jharkhand’s bowlers delivered a strong performance, with Sahil Raj, Abhishek, and Om Singh picking up three wickets each, while Satya Setu took one wicket to seal the emphatic win.
