Begusarai, May 1: Jamui defeated Banka by 5 wickets in the BCA Senior Men’s Cricket Tournament organized by Bihar Cricket Association on Wednesday.
In the match played at the local Barauni Fertilizer ground, Banka won the toss and decided to bat first. They secored 109 runs after losing all the wickets in 25.1 overs. Himanshu scored 33 runs for Banka.
For Jamui, Ghulam Rabbani took 2 wickets, Mayank Mehta took 2 wickets and Shiv Sinha took 2 wickets.
Chasing the target, Jamui’s team won the match by scoring 113 runs after losing 5 wickets in 22.5 overs.Vishal played an inning of 30 runs for Jamui. Navneet took 3 wickets from Banka.
Man of the Match award was given to Kamlesh of Jamui. The umpires were Sunny Kumar and Ravi Kumar and the scorers were Vishwajeet and Ram.
