Patna: Jai Ambe Enterprises hounoured Bihar’s star women cricketer Swarnima Chakraborty by sponsoring cricket kit.
Giving this information, Neeraj Kumar, Managing Director of Jai Ambe Enterprises, said that under the CSR policy, our company actively helps in social work other than sports. Under this policy, it has been decided to provide support to the state’s star women cricketer Swarnima Chakraborty on behalf of the company. In the coming days players of other sports will also be sponsored.
Swarnima Chakraborty has represented Bihar Senior and Under-19 cricket team. Last year, playing for the Bihar team in one-day women’s cricket organized by the BCCI, she was the top scorer for Bihar in two consecutive matches.
She also represented Under 19 Bihar Women’s Cricket Team in Visakhapatnam in 2021-22.
She also received best batswoman, best fielder and best player award in various tournaments organized by Bihar Cricket Association.
Swarnima Chakraborty learnt the ABC of cricket from State Coaching Center coach MP Verma. Currently she is taking training from Krishna Patel and Sunny Kumar at Sardar Patel Cricket Academy. Apart from cricket, Swarnima Chakraborty also plays squash and has also won the Under-17 State Squash Championship title.
