Patna: The popularity of Indian traditional Kho-Kho game is increasing very fast in Bihar. For this, the Kho-Kho Association of Bihar is continuously working. Taking this link forward, to promote kho-kho, on the occasion of World Kho-Kho Day, June 28, 2023, under the aegis of Kho-Kho Association of Bihar, under the banner of Kaimur District Kho-Kho Association, it has been decided to organize an Inter-School Kho-Kho Tournament near Mangal Singh Sarovar (Tori). This information was given by Neeraj Kumar Pappu, General Secretary of Kho-Kho Association of Bihar.
He said that for the successful organisation of this tournament, a meeting was organized under the chairmanship of Mrigendra Pratap Singh in the premises of the upgraded Higher Secondary School, Tori, Bhagwanpur.
In the meeting Awadhesh Kumar, Mahaveer Kumar Singh, Ranjit Kumar, Mohammad Niaz Ahmed, Mohammad Harun Rasid, Dilip Kumar Ram, Pritam Kumar, Arun Singh, Sonu Kumar Sharma, Asif Ali, Umesh Prasad, head of Tori Panchayat, Kamlesh Sharma, school member, Mrigendra Pratap Singh, school principal, Daroga Sah, and physical teacher, Umesh Prasad along with other teachers and parents were present.
