Patna: In the second match of the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy, Bihar lost to Haryana by 8 wickets at St. Xavier’s KCA Cricket Ground, Thiruvananthapuram on Friday.
Bihar won the toss and decided to bat first. Bihar were all out for 80 runs in 19 overs.
For Bihar, captain Apoorva Kumari scored 7 runs, Preeti scored 30, Harshita scored 9, Komal P Kumari scored 4, Preeti Priya scored 18, Sana Ali scored 10, Preeti Kumari scored 2 runs. Arya Seth, Pragati Singh, Shruti Gupta and Rachna Singh failed to open their accounts.
For Haryana, Suman Gulia took 3 wickets, Shefali Verma took 2 wickets, and Savita Malik and Sheetal Rana took 1 wicket each.
In reply, Haryana scored 83 runs for two wickets in 9.4 overs. For Haryana, Shefali Verma scored 51 not out, Sheetal Rana scored 26 runs. For Bihar, Preeti Kumari and Pragati Singh took one wicket each.
