Happy High School enter quarterfinal of Randhir Verma U-17 Cricket

Patna: Happy High School Patna beat SKM High School by 50 runs and entered the quarterfinal of Randhir Verma U-17 Cricket Championship at Sanjay Gandhi Stadium here on Monday.

Batting first after winning the toss, Happy High School Patna scored 195 runs for 7 wickets in 25 overs. Prakhar Gyan 108 (11×4, 8×6), Sonu 24 (4×3), Raj Kishore 14 (4×3) and Ayush Singh 16 (4×2) were the main contributurs for Happy High School. For SKM High School, Shivam 24/4, Anjan 40/1, Ankit 38/1 and Deepak 21/1 were the successful bowlers.

In reply, SKM High School scored 145 runs for 6 wickets at the end of 25 overs. Yash 86 (10×4, 6×6), Shivam 10 (4×1) and Aditya Raj 10 (4×1) were the notable run-getters for SKM High School.

Himanshu took three wickets for 19 runs and Rohit bagged one wicket for 35 runs for Happy High School. BJP Sports Celljoint convenor Rakesh Ojha and spokesperson Rajeev Ranjan Yadav jointly gave away the Man of the Match award to Prakhar Gyan of Happy High School.
