Goa trounce Bihar by 5 wickets in Senior Women’s T20 cricket

Patna: Goa beat Bihar by 5 wickets in the Senior Women’s T20 cricket tournament organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) at Amingaon Cricket Ground in Guwahati on Thursday.

Goa won the toss and invited Bihar to bat first. Playing first, Bihar were all out for only 47 runs in 19.5 overs. For Bihar, Apoorva Kumar 11 and Pragati Singh 15 could reach double digits. For Goa, Shikha Pandey took 3 wickets for 10 runs, while Sunanda took two wickets.

In reply, Goa achieved the target in 11.1 overs for the loss of 5 wickets. For Goa, Purvaja P Virlekar scored 12, Vinavi Gaurav scored 10, Sugandha scored 16 not out. For Bihar, Apoorva took three wickets for 11 runs in four overs. Apoorva Kumar and P Priya bagged one wicket each.
