Patna: Gennex Cricket Academy clinched the title of the Chandramani Prasad Singh Memorial Cricket Tournament by defeating YCC by 59 runs in the final. The match was held at the Bihar Cricket Academy Ground.
Winning the toss, Gennex Cricket Academy opted to bat first and posted a total of 160 runs for nine wickets in 25 overs. Shahriar Nafees top-scored with 53 runs. In response, YCC was bowled out for 101 runs in 19.1 overs. Priyanshu Yadav, who contributed 19 runs and claimed four wickets for just 10 runs, was named Player of the Match.
The awards were presented by Mrs Uma Devi and the Secretary of the Patna District Cricket Association, Rajesh Singh. Additionally, former Ranji Trophy players Manish Ojha, Anand Pratap, and Kumar Mridul were specially honoured during the ceremony. The organising secretary and coach of Bihar Cricket Academy, Ashutosh Kumar, along with National Player and Technical Head Rupak Kumar, extended a warm welcome to all attendees.
