Patna: In the inaugural Deen Dayal Memorial U16 Inter School Prize Money Cricket Tournament on Sunday, GAC defeated Sunrise International by 7 wickets.
Sunrise International won the toss and elected to bat first, but GAC quickly overturned their decision by bowling out their opponents for just 69 runs. Pratik shone with the ball, taking 4 wickets, while Mushir supported with 2 wickets. Yash was the top scorer for Sunrise with 19 runs.
In response, GAC chased down the modest target in just 8 overs, losing 3 wickets. Anmol led the charge with 28 runs, and Hariom contributed 23 runs. Veer took 2 wickets, while Satya claimed 1.
For his outstanding performance, Pratik Sinha was awarded the Man of the Match by Subhendu Priyadarshi, Principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya Bihta.
