Patna: Gardanibagh Athletic Club (GAC) entered the final of Patna District Senior Division Cricket League defeating YMCC by a huge margin of 186 runs at Jagjivan Stadium in Khagaul on Tuesday. Harshvardhan and Harsh Raj of the winning team were jointly awarded the Player of the Match award.
YMCC won the toss and decided to field first. Batting first, GAC scored 271 runs for 6 wickets in 40 overs. Vineet scored 51, Harsh Raj scored 78, Harsh Vardhan scored 74 and Vivek Kumar scored 20 runs.
In reply, YMCC batsmen were trapped by GAC spin bowlers Samar Qadri and Shashi Anand as the entire team was all out for just 85 runs in 17.5 overs. Priyanshu Kumar scored 20 runs. For GAC, Samar Qadri took 4 for 24, Himanshu Hari took 1 for 16, Shashi Anand took 3 for 20, Vivek Kumar took 1 for 15.
