Patna: The fourth round of player selection trials for the formation of teams participating in the third season of the Casa Picolla School Cricket Under-15 League, organised by Turning Point, was held at the State Coaching Centre (Patna Collegiate School) on Saturday.
The trial was inaugurated by ward councilors Indradeep Chandravanshi and Vinay Kumar Vala, They were also introduced to the players.
Organising chairman Vijay Sharma said that a total of 150 players took part in this selection trial. He said that the last trial of this season will be held on January 29 at SDV Public School, Kurthol.
The players were selected by a four-member selection committee comprising Saurabh Chakraborty, Praveen Sinha, Sumit Sharma and Naveen Kumar.
Convener Sumit Sharma said that children studying in schools in Patna district participated in the trial. He said that all the players who will come to participate in the trials to be held on January 29 must bring their Aadhaar card, birth certificate, certificate of school attendance and a photograph along with them.
