Patna : The fourth Bihar State Cadet, Sub Junior, Junior, and Senior Grappling Wrestling Championship will be held at Gulabbag Radhakrishna Mandir in Barh, Patna, from Saturday, 31 August to Sunday, 1 September. The event, organised under the aegis of the Bihar Grappling Wrestling Association, will see hundreds of male and female athletes from various districts across Bihar competing in different weight categories.
Gouri Shankar, General Secretary of the Bihar Grappling Wrestling Association, informed that all necessary preparations for the championship have been completed under the supervision of Karnaveer Singh Yadav, also known as Lallu Mukhiya, President of the Barh Grappling Wrestling Association, along with Vice President Ramanuj Singh Pehlwan and Secretary Satish Kumar.
To ensure smooth conduct of the matches, 10 technical officials have been appointed under the guidance of Technical Director Deepak Singh Kashyap. The two-day state championship will be inaugurated at 4:30 pm by social worker and President of the Bihar Grappling Wrestling Association, Kishlay Kishore, with former Chairman of the Sonepur Municipal Council, Vinod Singh Samrat, as the special guest.
