Patna: ERCC scored a 129-run victory over Amar CC in the Patna District Senior Division Cricket League due to excellent batting by Vinay Kumar (67 runs) and wicketkeeper batsman Vishwanath (61 not out). Akash Yadav (3 wickets) and Rohit Raj (3 wickets) also helped ERCC post a convincing win.
ERCC won the toss and scored 245 runs for five wickets in 35 overs in the match played at Gen-Nex Cricket Academy Ground on Friday. Vinay Kumar scored 67 runs in 84 balls with the help of 3 fours and 3 sixes and wicketkeeper batsman Vishwanath scored 61 not out in 68 balls with the help of 3 fours. Extras contributed 35 runs.
Chasing a target of 246 runs, Amar CC were out for 116 runs. Captain Ayush Anand played an inning of 22 runs for Amar CC. From ERCC, Akash Yadav took 3 wickets, giving away 31 runs, and Rohit Raj took 3 wickets, giving away 26 runs. Akash Yadav of the winning team was declared the player of the match.
