Patna: ERCC and RBNYAC won their respective matches in the Patna District Senior Division Cricket League being played under the aegis of Patna District Cricket Association on Sunday. ERCC defeated YCC by 6 wickets while RBNYAC defeated Adalatganj CC by 127 runs.
YCC won the toss and decided to bat first in the match played at Gennex Cricket Academy Ground. With the help of Rohit Pandey’s 54 runs, YCC scored 152 runs after losing all wickets in 34 overs. Abhinav Singh and Priyanshu Kumar took three wickets each for ERCC.
In reply, ERCC won the match by scoring 153 runs for 4 wickets in 19.2 overs with the help of good batting by Aditya (54 runs) and Priyanshu (32 runs). Vineet Kumar took 3 wickets for YCC. Priyanshu (32 runs, 3 wickets) of the winning team was awarded the Player of the Match.
At 22 Yard Cricket Academy, Adalatganj CC won the toss and decided to field first. Batting first, RBNYC scored 236 runs losing all wickets in the stipulated 40 overs. Raunit Kumar scored 87, Vikas Krishna scored 32 and Harsh Raj scored 29 runs.
Sushant Shekhar took 4 wickets for Adalatganj CC.
In reply, Adalatganj CC scored only 109 runs losing all wickets in 26.3 overs. Vikas Kumar scored 20, Aditya Prakash scored 17, Sushant Shekhar scored an unbeaten 28 runs.
Akshat Mishra, Utkarsh Kumar, Shubham Singh and Harsh Raj took 2 wickets each for RBNYC. Raunit Kumar (87 runs) of the winning team was awarded the Player of the Match award.
