Bhagalpur, August 1: Rakesh, a physically challenged devotee of Lord Shiva, started his journey for Bidayanath Dham (Deoghar) after collecting Ganga water from Sultanganj on Sunday. He will travel about 117 km distance to reach Deoghar from Sultanganj with the support of his hands and too holding Kanwar. Pouring Ganga water on Shiva lingam on Monday in the holy month of Sawan is considered the best moment to appease Lord Shiva.
The physically challenged young man is determined to achieve his target through his will power and with the blessings of Lord Shiva. He will walk through the distance with the support of his hands. The young man wants to prove disability is not inability.
