Patna, August 3: RK Sinha, former Rajya Sabha member and founder cum group chairman of Security & Intelligence Services (India) Limited (SIS) said that determination and hard work with vision will make you a successful entrepreneur.
He was sharing his experience of how he started his entrepreneurial journey in the lecture series programme organised by Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) here on Tuesday.
Sinha shared how to use the skills of the retired army men in the right way and that was the point when this idea came to his mind from the SIS security agents including the young jawans. In Bihar and Jharkhand this is the only company listed in the stock exchange and only company which has annual turnover more than Rs 10000 crore.
He also said, “If you want to be an entrepreneur, you just have to think about how you do something good for society or for the country. You can develop the idea, make a business plan, talk to the teacher/faculty and with their support try to modify your plan and pursue that with hard-work and honesty.”
In this highly interactive session, Sinha also said, if you want to be successful, if you want to become an entrepreneur just keep three words in mind: Determination, hard-work and honesty.
Earlier, R K Sinha also inaugurated the working prototype model of Hydrolifting Technology, a technology developed by Rohit Kumar and incubated and mentored by CIMP Business Incubation and Innovation Foundation (CIMP-BIIF).
Prof. (Dr.) Rajeev Verma proposed a vote of thanks. Faculty members along with the staff were also present in the leader lecture series.
