Patna: The Cricket Academy of Bihar (CAB) and the School of Cricket Academy have advanced to the semi-finals of the Dr Parmeshwar Dayal Memorial Under-13 Inter-School Cricket Tournament after securing victories in their quarter-final matches.
Quarter-Final 3: School of Cricket Academy vs CAB Gold
School of Cricket Academy won the toss and elected to bowl first. CAB Gold struggled to put up a competitive score, being bowled out for 69 runs in 19.3 overs. Arsalan led the bowling attack for the School of Cricket Academy, taking four wickets for 16 runs. In response, the School of Cricket Academy chased down the target with ease, finishing at 71 for 2 in 14.2 overs. Arsalan’s impressive performance earned him the Rize Coaching Player of the Match award, presented by Santosh Tiwari, founder of the Sardar Patel Sports Foundation.
Quarter-Final 4: Cricket Academy of Bihar vs Lakshya Cricket Academy
In the final quarter-final, Lakshya Cricket Academy chose to field after winning the toss. Despite a strong bowling effort from Yash and Priyanshu, who each took three wickets, the Cricket Academy of Bihar managed to post a total of 95 runs in 17.4 overs. In reply, Lakshya Cricket Academy’s batsmen were unable to handle Aman’s brilliant bowling and were all out for 50 runs in 16.3 overs. Aman took four wickets for just 8 runs, earning him the Rize Coaching Player of the Match award.
