Patna: Excellent bowling Anees Kumar (4 wickets), Prajwal (2 wickets), Rajeev (2 wickets) and Manish Kumar (2 wickets), helped City Students Club reach the final of Patna District Junior Division Cricket League on Saturday.
City Students Club defeated Sharma Sporting by 8 wickets in the second semi-final.
At Khemnichak Ground, Sharma Sporting won the toss and decided to bat first and scored 102 runs losing all wickets in 25.1 overs. In reply, City Students Club scored 103 runs for two wickets in 15.3 overs. Anees Kumar (31 runs, four wickets) was awarded the player of the match award.
