Champions and Blasters Post Wins in Asha Baba Champions Trophy

Patna: Champions and Blasters emerged victorious in their respective matches in the Asha Baba Champions Trophy Cricket Tournament at Krishna Stadium, Khemnichak. Champions defeated Bombers by 17 runs, while Blasters secured a 16-run win over Super Kings.

In the first match, Champions won the toss and opted to bat, posting a total of 161 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. In response, Bombers managed 144 runs for eight wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Agastya of Champions was adjudged Player of the Match and received the award from State Tax Deputy Commissioner Shashi Shekhar Sinha.

In the second match, Blasters, batting first after winning the toss, set a target of 165 runs for five wickets in 18 overs. Super Kings, in reply, scored 149 runs for five wickets in 18 overs. Rajiv was named Player of the Match for his stellar performance.
