Patna: CAB defeated CAB Red by nine wickets in a one-sided encounter at the Akhilesh Memorial Under-13 Cricket Tournament, held on Thursday, 5 December, at the Cricket Academy of Bihar (CAB Ground).
After winning the toss, CAB Red elected to bat first and were bowled out for 113 runs in just 22 overs. Krishna top-scored with 26 runs, while Raman contributed 12 and Anshuman managed 10. CAB’s bowlers delivered an effective performance, with Shaukat Ali taking 2 wickets for 27 runs. Kunal Giri and Ayushman each picked up one wicket, conceding 30 and 6 runs, respectively.
In reply, CAB chased down the target comfortably, scoring 115 runs for the loss of just one wicket in 19.5 overs. Shivam led the innings with 30 runs, while Rishit contributed an unbeaten 24 runs to secure the win. Sparsh chipped in with 8 runs, and Harsh was the only bowler for CAB Red to take a wicket, conceding 17 runs.
Rishit’s all-round performance earned him the Player of the Match award, cementing CAB’s dominant display in the tournament.
