Patna: Cricket Academy of Bihar (CAB) Red emerged victorious in the Dr. Parmeshwar Dayal Memorial Under-13 Cricket Tournament, defeating School of Cricket Patna by a commanding 114-run margin in the final.
After winning the toss, CAB Red opted to bat first, amassing 189 runs for nine wickets in their 25 overs. Shivam led the innings with an impressive 76 runs, supported by Kunal with 13 and Rishit with 21. Bowlers Abhinav and Girish each took two wickets.
In response, School of Cricket Patna were bowled out for just 75 runs in 18.3 overs. Sadan managed to score 16 runs, and Agastya contributed 13. Nikesh and Pratyush starred with the ball, taking two wickets each, with Nikesh named Player of the Match.
The awards ceremony was attended by Patna Mayor Sita Sahu, Deputy Mayor Reshmi Chandravanshi, and Patna Municipal Corporation Empowered Committee member and Ward Councillor Indravanshi Chandravanshi, alongside Suraj. The players were welcomed by Sardar Patel Sports Foundation General Secretary Naveen Kumar, and Foundation founder Santosh Tiwari delivered a vote of thanks. Sandeep Patil served as the announcer, and all awards were sponsored by Rize Coaching IIT JEE.
