Patna: The Cricket Academy of Bihar (CAB) Gold secured their spot in the quarterfinals of the Dr. Parmeshwar Dayal Memorial Under-13 Inter-School Cricket Tournament, while Triumphant Cricket Academy also achieved a decisive victory in their match.
CAB Gold crushed Shriram Khel Maidan by 9 wickets, and Triumphant Cricket Academy outplayed YCC Cricket Academy C by 5 wickets.
In the first game, Triumphant Cricket Academy won the toss and opted to field. YCC Cricket Academy C struggled, posting 76 runs before being bowled out in 19 overs. In response, Triumphant chased down the target with ease, scoring 78 for 5 in 11.2 overs, led by Rohit’s impressive 52 runs. Adarsh, with a brilliant 3-wicket haul, was named the Rise Coaching Player of the Match, an award presented by Dr. Mukesh Kumar Singh.
In the second match, Shriram Khel Maidan batted first, posting 102 for 6 in 20 overs, with Rajnish contributing 22 runs. CAB Gold made light work of the chase, reaching 104 for 1 in 15 overs. Anup’s 27 and Kunal’s 26 powered the team to victory. Anup was named Player of the Match and received the Rise Coaching award from the organising secretary, Santosh Tiwari.
