Patna: Cricket Academy of Bihar (CAB) Blue advanced to the final of the Dr Parmeshwar Dayal Memorial Under-13 Inter-School Cricket Tournament by defeating Triumphant Cricket Academy by a massive margin of 123 runs in the semi-finals. In another match, Saint Michael High School Red beat Learning School of Cricket by 6 wickets to reach the quarter-finals.
In the match held at the CAB ground, CAB Blue won the toss and elected to bat, posting a total of 192 for 6 in 25 overs, thanks to 40 runs each from Nikesh and Rishit. In response, Triumphant Cricket Academy were bowled out for 69 runs in 18 overs. Nikesh from the winning side was named the Rize Coaching Player of the Match, awarded by umpire Praveen Sinha.
In the other match, Learning School of Cricket batted first after winning the toss and scored 111 runs, losing all wickets in 17 overs. In reply, Saint Michael High School chased the target, scoring 115 for 4 in 19.5 overs to clinch the victory. Aarav Mishra of Saint Michael High School was awarded the Rize Coaching Player of the Match by Santosh Tiwari, founder of Sardar Patel Sports Foundation.
