Patna: Bihar State Electricity Board (BSEB) and Moonlight Cricket Club won their respective matches in the Patna District Senior Division Cricket League, organised by the ad hoc committee constituted for the operation of cricket in Patna by the BCA.
BSEB defeated Hercules CC by 8 wickets at Urja Stadium while Moonlight CC defeated Kamala Nehru CC by 59 runs at the Gen-Nex Cricket Academy ground, Sampatchak.
Batting first, Hercules CC batsmen failed before the BSEB bowlers, and the entire team was all out for 89 runs in 27.3 overs. In reply, BSEB achieved the target losing two wickets on the way. BSEB’s, who took two wickets and scored 33 not out, was awarded the player of the match award by former cricketer Nikhilesh Ranjan.
Batting first after winning the toss, Moonlight CC scored 188 runs for seven wickets in 30 overs. Rishabh Bhardwaj played an inning of 72 runs in 67 balls with the help of 7 fours. In reply, Kamla Nehru CC’s team was all out for 129 runs in 25.2 overs. Rishabh Bhardwaj was given the player of the match award.
