Patna: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has cancelled the teacher recruitment examination it held on March 15 in Bihar. After conducting an extensive investigation, the BPSC cancelled this examination.

The commission held the third phase of the teacher recruitment exam in two shifts on March 15, 2024. On Wednesday, the commission also issued the official cancellation notification.

It should be noted that the controversy began as soon as the examination for the third phase of teacher recruitment took place because there were concerns that the question papers had been leaked even before the examination, leading to claims that the examination would be cancelled soon.

The Bihar Police were constantly making new revelations about this subject and arresting several people; therefore, the BPSC finally decided to cancel the exam.

The examination took place in two shifts last Friday. Police in Hazaribagh detained about 250 to 300 candidates who were coming to Bihar to appear in the examination on Friday morning.

A joint team from the Economic Offences Unit (EOU) of Bihar Police and Jharkhand Police took this action. All of the arrested candidates informed the police that they had previously received the exam’s solved papers. The cops also seized the solved paper. Now the action has begun.
