Patna: Selection trials for Munger district teams to participate in the Bihar junior kho-kho teams selection trials was organised at Indoor Stadium, Munger on Friday.
More than hundreds boys and girls from across the district participated in the trials. The Bihar team will participate in the 41st Junior National Kho-Kho Championship (Boys and Girls) 2022-23 to be held in West Bengal. Munger District Kho-Kho Association organised the trials under the aegis of Kho-Kho Association of Bihar.
This information was given by Harimohan Singh, secretary, Munger District Kho-Kho Association. He said that on the basis of this selection trial, the talented boys and girls who have performed well have been identified to participate in the State selection trial. The names of the players will be announced after checking their registration and other documents from the Kho-Kho Federation of India
NIS coach Jitendra Lal Srivastava, secretary of Munger District Kho-Kho Association Harimohan Singh, senior national players Ankit Kumar Nishad, Nitish Kumar, Anuvriti Singh, women’s team coach Anjali Kumari were present on the occasion as a referee and selectors.
