Patna: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Sports Cell Bihar has decided to organise six-day-long Women’s Cricket Championship to commemorate the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee . This was decided in a meeting of the BJP sports cell held under the chairmanship of state convener Satish Raju at the office of the BJP Sports Cell located at the BJP state headquarters here.
Satish Raju said that BJP Sports Cell has been organising women’s cricket championship every year on the occasion of the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee. This year also, the Sports Cell will organise a 6-day women’s cricket championship on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Atal ji, which will be inaugurated on December 20 and the closing cum prize distribution ceremony will be held on December 25.
On this occasion, co-convenor of BJP sports cell Dhirendra Sinha, state spokesperson Rajeev Ranjan Yadav, Anand Kumar Sinha, social media in-charge Vikas Singh, regional in-charge Anand Mishra, Ramesh Gupta, Sushil Kumar etc. were present.
