Patna: On Tuesday, 11th March 2025, the grounds of Shriram Khel Maidan in Sultanpur Math (Danapur) played host to the grand Spectra Samman Samaroh and Holi Milan Samaroh. The event celebrated and honoured players, coaches, press representatives, social workers, and other individuals who have brought glory to Bihar. The ceremony was graced by notable dignitaries, including Rajiv Kumar, State President of the Farmers Cell of HAM; Veeru Singh, State Vice President of the Farmers Cell of HAM; Neeraj Kumar Pappu, Secretary of the Kho-Kho Association of Bihar; Dr Satyendra Narayan Mohan Paswan; Colonel Vinay Kumar Sinha; Indradeep Chandravanshi, member of the Patna Municipal Corporation Empowered Committee; and Physio Dr Kundan Kumar.
The occasion also marked the festive spirit of Holi, as guests and participants alike applied abir and gulal to one another, exchanging warm wishes for the festival. The event was meticulously organised under the supervision of Santosh Tiwari, Founder Secretary of the Sardar Patel Foundation, with Mrityunjay Jha serving as the announcer.
All guests were honoured by Naveen Kumar, General Secretary of the Sardar Patel Sports Foundation, who presented them with shawls, bouquets, and mementos. The dignitaries praised the organisers for their efforts, noting that such recognition would inspire the honourees to continue their contributions and further elevate Bihar’s reputation on national and international stages.
