Patna: Satyam Prakash and Arya Parasar of Bihar achieved double title victories in the All India Ranking Under-16 Boys/Girls Tennis Championship, held at Naseeb Sports Academy, Patna, under the aegis of Bihar Lawn Tennis Association. Both players triumphed in their respective singles and doubles categories.
In the boys’ singles final, Satyam Prakash of Bihar defeated his fellow state player Avinash Rai with a score of 6-0, 7-6 (3). In the boys’ doubles event, Satyam Prakash teamed up with Prakhar Ranjan to defeat the Bihar duo of Chaitanya Kabir and Avinash Rai, winning 6-1, 6-4.
In the girls’ singles final, Arya Parasar of Bihar secured the title by overcoming Aditi Mishra, also from Bihar, in a challenging match that ended 6-2, 5-7, 7-5. In the doubles, Arya joined forces with Pranya Kashyap to claim victory over the team of Aditi Mishra and Shreen Ghosh from West Bengal, with a decisive score of 6-4, 6-0. The players were awarded their trophies by Satish Prasad, Director of the Tennis Wing of Naseeb Sports Academy.
