Patna: Abhishek Singh of Bihar won the bronze medal in the 60 kg weight category in the Junior National Boxing Championship held in Itanagar. Abhishek, a resident of Katihar district, had also won the bronze medal in the same championship in 2022.
Giving this information, Secretary of Boxing Association of Bihar, Rajeev Kumar Singh said that Abhishek practices at ASI Training Centre in Pune.
After returning to the state, Abhishek Singh met Mrs. Harjot Kaur, Additional Chief Secretary, Art, Culture and Youth Department, Government of Bihar. Harjot Kaur congratulated and wished for the next championship and said that you should focus only on your game, the Sports Department and Bihar State Sports Authority are ready to help the players in every possible way.
