Patna: It’s a golden day for Bihar cricket as 13-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been selected for the Indian Under-19 team. Suryavanshi will represent India in the ACC Under-19 Asia Cup 2024, set to take place in the UAE from 29 November.
Bihar Cricket Association President Rakesh Tiwari congratulated Suryavanshi on his achievement, saying, “Vaibhav Suryavanshi is a player of natural talent. This young cricketer from Bihar has already set numerous records in the Ranji Trophy at an exceptionally young age. Recently, he scored a magnificent century against Australia’s Under-19 team while representing India. Now, he will participate in the Asia Under-19 Cup. On behalf of the Bihar Cricket Association, we wish Vaibhav a bright future.”
At just 13, Vaibhav has been making remarkable strides in cricket. He is the youngest player in history to debut in a prestigious tournament like the Ranji Trophy, and his selection for the Asia Cup is a proud moment for Bihar.
