Bihar win Sub-Junior Boys National Football Championship Tier 2 title

Patna: Bihar won the Sub-Junior Boys National Football Championship Tier 2 title, defeating Delhi 1-0 at RDT Sports Village Ground.

The match was keenly contested. The first half ended in a 0-0 draw.

As soon as the second half of the game started, the players from Bihar started attacking. Ayush Kumar got success in the 47th minute of the game as Bihar took a 1-0 lead.

After this, the players from Bihar tried to increase the lead, and Delhi tried to equalize but did not succeed.

Bihar’s Rajkaran Kumar was shown a yellow card in the 58th minute of the game, and Delhi’s AD Zothanmawia was shown a yellow card in the 61st minute of the match.

On the occasion of the victory, the Secretary of the Bihar Football Association, Syed Imtiaz Hussain, the DG of the Bihar State Sports Authority, Raveendran Shankaran, the President of the Bihar Football Association, Mr. Prasanjeet Mehta, and all the members congratulated the Bihar team. They also congratulated the trainer, support staff, and manager of the team.

Meanwhile, in 77th National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy, Rajasthan beat Bihar 3-1.
