Patna: Bihar beat Rajasthan 28-10 to win the National Junior Rugby Boys Championship title held at Chhatrapati Shivaji Stadium in Pune from from June 13 to June 14.
Bihar defeated hosts Maharashtra 22-05 in the quarter-finals and entered the semi-finals. In this match, Golden scored 10, Pankaj 5, Sagar 5 and Raja 2 points.
In the semi-finals, Bihar defeated Odisha 24-07 to enter the final. Golden scored 5 points, Sagar scored 5 points, Rakesh scored 5 points and Raja scored 4 points in this match.
In the final Raja scored 13 points. Saurabh (5), Rohit (5) and Sagar (5)were the other scorers.
