Bihar Triumph Over Sikkim with Ten-Wicket Victory in U-19 Vinoo Mankad Trophy

Patna: In the second match of the U-19 Vinoo Mankad Trophy held at Stumps Cricket Ground, Hyderabad, Bihar made an impressive comeback, defeating Sikkim by ten wickets. Sikkim, having opted to bat first after winning the toss, were bowled out for 90 runs in 29.1 overs. Bihar, in response, comfortably chased down the target, reaching 91 runs without losing any wickets in just 10.4 overs.

For Sikkim, Adnan was the top scorer with 47 runs, while Karan contributed 10 runs, Sungfun 11 runs, and Inzamamullah 5 runs. Bihar’s bowling attack was led by Vasudev, who claimed 4 wickets. Tejaswi Yadav took 3 wickets, Badal Kumar secured 2 wickets, and Suman Kumar took 1 wicket.

In Bihar’s innings, captain Md Alam shone with an unbeaten 58 runs, supported by Ayush Raj’s 29 not out, leading the team to a comprehensive ten-wicket victory. Bihar will face Madhya Pradesh in their next match on 8th October.
