Patna: Bihar women’s U-19 team has qualified for the pre-quarterfinals of the Women’s Under-19 T20 Cricket Tournament organised by the BCCI. In the knockout, Bihar will face Delhi on October 11. This match will be played at Narendra Modi Stadium Ground A, Motera Ahmedabad.
Although Bihar’s team lost to Andhra Pradesh in its last league match, Bihar got the advantage due to Hyderabad’s victory over Chhattisgarh and on the basis of run rate. Bihar had better run rate than Hyderabad and thus the team got ticket for pre-quarter-finals.
Bihar team won three matches out of five matches and secured 12 points in pool D. Hyderabad also had 12 points in 5 matches but Bihar’s run rate is 2.095 while Hyderabad’s run rate is 1.065

Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab have been given direct entry to the quarterfinals. Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh have 20 points each while Punjab have 18 points.
